Randy Pierson is a 30-year veteran of the Financial Services Industry. After graduating from Ball State University in 1988 with a degree in Business Management, Randy started his career in the insurance field. He’s worked with several insurance companies to include: Golden Rule, Berkshire Life, Mass Mutual, Provident Mutual, Pacific Life, and Beneficial Financial Group. He has performed numerous roles with those carriers to include: Career Agent, Sales Manager, General Agent, Regional Sales Manager and Field Vice President.

In his current role as Gordon Marketing’s Vice President of Life & Annuity Sales, Randy works with agents and advisors to grow their life and annuity insurance business. He has agents contracted throughout the US and has trained 1,000’s of them in the 11years he’s been with the company. His emphasis is in assisting agents in growing life and annuity sales while doing business the “right way”!

He has a broad base of knowledge including all aspects of life insurance and annuity product features and sales concepts. His focus is consulting and training on the products that best serve the consumer and sales systems or concepts that dramatically impact the distribution of life insurance. Randy has a great deal of experience working with nearly every type of insurance product with an emphasis in the areas of indexed universal life and whole life. His specialty is teaching concepts relating to wealth building, debt reduction, and tax efficiency all while providing better than average growth and safety of principal. In addition, he has intimate familiarity with general insurance sales and marketing concepts such as, estate planning, general business planning, premium finance, college planning, and fundamental financial planning… just to name a few.

Randy has furthered his professional education by obtaining the highly regarded Certified Life Underwriter designation (CLU) and becoming a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). He is a nearly 30-year member of NAIFA and has served on several committees and the board for the Indianapolis chapter. He represents Gordon Marketing and actively participates in activities through the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) and the National Association for fixed Annuities (NAFA).

Randy lives in Noblesville, Indiana with his wife (Toni) and four children all of whom are in college.

Craig Miera supervises the Life Insurance division at Gordon Marketing. He comes with over 15 years of advanced case design expertise within the Life Insurance world. He firmly believes that Life Insurance is a consultative sale and must be told as a story not a product sale. One of his biggest strengths is being able to explain in a clear and simplistic manner to clients the many benefits of life insurance.

His main area of focus is Cash Accumulation Life Insurance using IUL, Life with Long Term Care, Premium Finance, and Business Succession Planning. In 2020 Craig helped GM grow its IUL sales by over 300%. He will always make himself available to participate on client calls to help agencies close the sale.

Along with wholesaling and helping agencies grow their business Craig’s owns his own agency and personally sold over 1M of IUL premium in 2020. Craig splits his time between Carlsbad California, and Copper Mountain Colorado. A proud father to a 7-year-old and husband.

Tim joined the Gordon Marketing team in January of 2020. Tim is an Annuity and Retirement Income Planning Specialist with over 30 years of broad industry experience. He is expert in fixed and fixed indexed product sales for all stages of retirement. Tim is passionate about the unique value that annuities can provide and thoroughly enjoys helping people secure the best retirement solutions on the market.

Tim holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and currently lives in Fairlawn, Ohio. He is married with three adult children and enjoys Ohio sports and all things outdoors including hiking, boating and an occasional round of golf.

Tim supports Gordon Marketing’s annuity advisors with case design and placement and wants advisors to see our annuity team as an extension of their team.

Ray is a 20-year veteran in the insurance industry. Since graduating from Taylor University in 1999, he has held various roles in the industry including case management, underwriting medical malpractice insurance. Over the last 10 years, Ray has focused on consulting and marketing Life, DI, LTC and Annuity Products with Ash Brokerage and MassMutual.

As Regional Vice President at Gordon Marketing, Ray brings to the table a wealth of knowledge of the insurance industry. Beyond the experience, Ray also brings a passion for relationship building and practice enhancement to agents who wish to impact their clients’ lives in significant ways.

Ray focuses on helping agents identify more opportunities and increase practice revenue within their client base, buy providing concept education and book of business reviews. Solutions that Ray focuses on are risk management concepts that lead to efficient Business Succession, Estate Planning, Protection and Retirement Income Planning.

Ray lives Westfield, IN with his wife Melissa and 3 children. In his free time, Ray enjoys golf, bicycling, fishing, and coaching/watching his children’s sports.

Brendon has been a member of the Gordon Marketing team since December of 2018. He began his career while earning his bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in 2012. During his time at Ball State, Brendon focused his studies on Risk Management/Insurance.

Brendon has served in the United States Army for over 11 years. While achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, Brendon has shown great leadership and adaptability through several different military fields. He is a proud veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Brendon became a licensed insurance agent in 2014 and began his insurance career with Bankers Life. Specializing in Your Family Bank, he then worked for several years helping build and support an agency as a case development specialist. Now with Gordon Marketing, Brendon has focused his efforts on becoming an annuity specialist. His #1 goal at Gordon Marketing is to help insurance producers become more effective and grow their business.

Brendon has helped hundreds of agents grow and become more efficient with their annuity business by tackling suitability concerns, recommending products and overall support through the sales process.

Brady has been a member of the Gordon Marketing team since early 2016. He began his career while earning his bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in 2016. During his time at Ball State, Brady focused his studies on insurance and business administration. Quickly after graduation, he found his career at Gordon Marketing.

While at Gordon Marketing, Brady has become a licensed insurance agent himself, specialized in all aspects of life insurance, including fully underwritten IUL, advanced sales concepts such as college funding, key man, executive bonus, retirement planning, final expense, and annuities. His #1 goal at Gordon Marketing is to help insurance producers become more effective and grow their business.

To make insurance sales easier for producers, Brady has helped design and create Gordon Marketing mobile apps for agents to quote and place their business more effectively and efficiently.

Brady has helped thousands of insurance agents during his tenure at Gordon Marketing. His goals for the future are to continue to help independent insurance agents grow their business and one day, own his own agency.

Paul joined the Gordon Marketing team in December 2018 launching the most successful Life Insurance platform ever at Gordon Marketing – Your Family Bank.

While at Gordon Marketing, Paul has been instrumental in driving over 430 agents through the YFB certification process which has resulted in over $15,000,000 in Whole Life Insurance premium to date.

To provide value to the agents in the YFB program, Paul has developed state-of-the-art sales tools and case design resources for agents to easily find clients, communicate the benefit, and write business. Paul has also been instrumental in creating a relationship and ongoing process development with the founder of Your Family Bank, Larry McLean.

Paul has both the personal production and sales background, as well as, being a top marketer… to help expand and grow Life Insurance sales for the organization. He is a 1987 Purdue University Graduate and has received an MA degree from Ball State in Executive Development. In his prior career of 21 years at Ford Motor Company, Paul was an Industrial and Process Engineer and brings those skills to the Your Family Bank process.

Kevin has been a member of the Gordon Marketing team since October 2020. He earned his degree from The Ohio State University in 1998, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Finance.

Upon graduating, Kevin worked for Nationwide Financial for 17 years where he wholesaled Annuities to the major Wirehouse firms, including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors, UBS Financial Services, and a multitude of Regional Firms in the OH, IN and KY regions. He then joined Crump Financial Services for 2 years, where he served as a General Agent as a Life Insurance Specialist helping advisors and their clients respectively, fit their financial needs.

Joining the team at Gordon Marketing, Kevin’s dedicated role is helping his Elite accounts grow their Life and Annuity portfolio. He hosts webinars and produces plentiful content on multiple social media outlets on a weekly basis, getting the word out on hot topics and ideas to ultimately help boost the sales of his agencies and their respectful clientele.

He currently holds his FINRA Series 6, Series 63, LTC and Life and Health licenses. Relationship building, training and sales support are just a few of his core strengths as he looks forward to building the depth and breadth of Gordon Marketing’s Life and Annuity portfolio.
